Delete Your Thrive Account
Last updated: 2 September 2026
You can permanently delete your Thrive account and associated data at any time. Once processed, this action cannot be undone.
Delete In-App
The fastest way to delete your account is directly through the Thrive app:
Settings → Delete Account
Follow the on-screen steps to confirm and submit your deletion request.
Request via Email
If you cannot access the app, email our support team to request deletion:
Email from the address linked to your Thrive account and use the subject line: “Thrive Account Deletion Request”.
Email Deletion Request Steps
- Send your email from the address associated with your Thrive account.
- Include your Thrive username in the message body.
- Our support team will verify your identity and process your request.
- You will receive confirmation once your account has been deleted.
For your security, we will never ask you to email your password, authentication codes, tokens, sensitive workout information or Health app data.
What Gets Deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data is removed from Thrive's primary systems:
- Your account credentials, email address and profile information
- Workout logs, exercise history and training data
- Weight and body-measurement entries, including any imported from the Apple Health app
- Posts, Fit Reels, comments and uploaded media
- Followers, following relationships and social activity
- AI scanner history and saved training plans
- Progress statistics, achievements and quest data
- The internal account identifier used for optional analytics, where applicable
Subscriptions and Billing
Deleting your Thrive account does not automatically cancel your Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. To avoid future charges, cancel your subscription separately through your Apple App Store or Google Play subscription settings before deleting your account.
Limited Data Retention
Some limited records may be retained after deletion for legitimate purposes, and are removed once no longer required:
- Security and abuse-prevention records
- Moderation records where required for safety
- Billing records held by Apple, Google or RevenueCat under their own policies
- Records required to meet legal or regulatory obligations
- Temporary copies in routine backups until they expire
We handle deletion requests promptly and within applicable legal timeframes. You will receive email confirmation once your request has been completed. For more detail, see our Privacy Policy.
